[Remote] Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

They are seeking a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to design and build scalable cloud-based data platforms, develop data pipelines, and ensure data governance and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design and build secure, scalable cloud-based data platforms that integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, IoT, and enterprise systems
- Develop high-performance data pipelines and distributed processing solutions to support analytics, AI, and operational workloads
- Establish data governance, security, monitoring, and reliability standards to ensure platform performance and compliance
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions at scale
- Drive platform optimization, architectural best practices, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams

- Strong hands-on experience as a Data Engineer
- Physical AI
- Digital Twins
- Airflow (DAGs, scheduling, monitoring)
- CAFQA
- CI/CD for data workloads (GitHub Actions highly desirable)
- Solid SQL and modern data engineering best practices
- Comfortable working autonomously in a contract environment
