[Remote] National Account Manager, Walmart

ForceBrands is partnering with an established and growing consumer packaged goods company to identify a Senior National Account Manager to lead the Walmart business. This high-impact role is responsible for developing customer strategy, driving profitable growth, and strengthening executive-level relationships with Walmart.
Responsibilities
- Own the Walmart business and serve as the primary customer contact
- Develop and execute annual business plans that drive revenue, profitability, and market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart buyers, category managers, and key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for assortment expansion, promotional programs, and new item launches
- Analyze sales trends, category performance, and market data to develop actionable growth strategies
- Lead customer negotiations, pricing discussions, and promotional planning
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance, category management, and operations to ensure flawless execution
- Monitor forecasts, inventory, and business performance while identifying risks and opportunities
- Deliver regular business reviews and performance updates to senior leadership
Skills
- 10+ years of sales or national account management experience within the CPG industry
- Strong understanding of Walmart systems, processes, and customer expectations
- Proven success growing revenue, expanding distribution, and managing large retail accounts
- Experience with joint business planning, category management, promotional execution, and customer negotiations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business decisions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Direct experience managing the Walmart business is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
