[Remote] Platform Engineer, macOS

They are seeking a Platform Engineer to build the future of software management on macOS, focusing on native applications, device management, and security controls.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain native applications and platform services targeting macOS
- Design and implement high-performance backend systems and APIs in Go
- Develop secure software distribution, installation, and update mechanisms
- Work deeply with macOS frameworks, system services, device management technologies, and operating system internals
- Design systems that scale reliably across hundreds of managed devices
- Investigate and resolve complex platform, performance, and reliability issues
- Help shape Workbrew's security architecture across endpoints, applications, infrastructure, and software supply chains
- Partner with product and engineering teams to make thoughtful technical and architectural decisions
- Contribute to engineering standards, code reviews, testing practices, and operational excellence
Skills
- Deep macOS expertise
- Strong systems programming fundamentals
- Security-first mindset
- Experience building native applications in Swift
- Experience designing backend services in Go
- Ability to debug complex interactions between applications, operating systems, and infrastructure
- Experience building and maintaining native applications and platform services targeting macOS
