[Remote] Product Manager, I

Wilcore Technologies, Inc. is a growing federal technology company dedicated to delivering modern software solutions that enhance government services. They are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the planning and execution of digital products for the Department of Veterans Affairs, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and user needs.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with government stakeholders and internal teams
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs based on customer needs, business value, technical considerations, and contractual priorities
- Collaborate with engineers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and program leadership throughout the product lifecycle
- Gather and translate user feedback and business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coordinate product releases and support change management activities
- Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Balance competing priorities while ensuring delivery of high-quality, user-centered solutions
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and communicate product status, risks, and recommendations
- Support Agile and human-centered design practices to improve digital experiences for Veterans and VA employees
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of program objectives
Skills
- Proven experience as a Product Manager supporting software development initiatives
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management best practices
- Experience managing product backlogs, prioritizing features, and translating business needs into actionable development work
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes
- Experience working with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile project management tools
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic consulting environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Human-Centered Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
- U.S. Citizenship may be required based on federal contract requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance as required by the contract
- Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other federal civilian agencies
- Experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD) and user research methodologies
- Familiarity with digital transformation, healthcare technology, or enterprise modernization initiatives
- Experience working in cloud-based or DevSecOps software development environments
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or similar Agile certification is preferred
