Remote Prop Trader – Mission Viejo, CA
Maverick Trading is hiring a fully remote Equity & Options Trader open to applicants in Mission Viejo, CA. We are a 25+ year proprietary trading firm that allocates firm capital to disciplined traders and scales buying power based on performance and risk management. Trading from the West Coast: Trade US markets from your local time — the NYSE opens at 6:30am Pacific and closes mid-afternoon. Pacific Time means a 6:30am market open — early, but the trade-off is that you're done by 1pm local. Many of our West Coast traders prefer this rhythm: focused morning work, full afternoon free. This is not a challenge account. Not a demo evaluation. We provide structured capital allocation for traders who want a professional path to scaling capital. What you will do:
- Trade equities and options within defined risk parameters
- Follow a structured, rules-based risk management approach
- Build consistency and scale capital based on performance
Why options: Options allow traders to define risk, hedge exposures, and structure trades beyond simple directional stock positions. Maverick is one of the few proprietary trading firms that actively trades options as a core part of its trading approach. What we offer:

- Independent decision-making and personal accountability
- Willingness to complete the Maverick Qualification Program before trading firm capital
