[Remote] Quality Assurance Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is seeking a QA Engineer to take ownership of testing for a game-like simulation environment for a Fortune 500 client. The role involves writing automated tests in Python and managing the full QA lifecycle from planning to client-facing reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own testing end-to-end for part of a game-like simulation environment for a Fortune 500 client
- Writing automated tests in Python
- Validating how the system behaves across different scenarios and inputs
- Testing across a lot of configurations to make sure nothing breaks as things evolve
- Handle the full QA lifecycle from planning through client-facing reporting
- Working in Git and likely CI pipelines
- Owning quality and making sure everything performs as the system gets more complex
Skills
- Solid Python scripting — writing automated test cases, not just executing them
- Test strategy and planning — owns the full QA lifecycle from plan to report
- Black-box and input/output validation experience
- Regression and permutation testing across configurable parameters
- Formal test reporting for client-facing acceptance processes
- Git workflows
- Experience testing simulation, game, or physics-based systems
- Gymnasium or any RL framework exposure
- Pytest or similar Python testing frameworks
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Familiarity with CI pipelines and automated test triggers
