A highly respected California law firm with over 80 years of experience advising both public entities and private developers is seeking a Remote Real Estate Associate Attorney (5+ Years) to join its statewide Real Estate and Business Law team. You’ll collaborate with a deep bench of attorneys handling sophisticated real estate, corporate, and finance matters across industries including banking, real estate, health care, construction, technology, and development.
About the Role
You’ll represent a diverse client base — public entities, developers, corporations, nonprofits, and property owners — on a wide range of complex transactions, including:
- Purchase, sale, and leasing of commercial properties
- Development and disposition agreements
- Real estate financing and public-private partnerships (P3s)
- Ground leases, easements, and condemnation matters
- CEQA, land use entitlements, and environmental compliance support
You’ll take the lead on deals, work alongside partners known for mentorship and collaboration, and enjoy the support of a firm that truly values balance and flexibility. ️ What You Bring
- 5–10 years of real estate or land use experience (transactional focus preferred)
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Experience representing public entities or private developers is highly valued
- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- A proactive, client-centered mindset and desire to grow your practice
