[Remote] Rebate Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pactiv Evergreen Inc. is a leading manufacturer of food, beverage, and specialty packaging supporting multiple industries. The Rebate Analyst role involves supervising a team to ensure accurate administration of payment programs and providing analysis and reporting support to management.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision of team to ensure programs, payment and deductions are administered effectively, timely and accurately in accordance with Pactiv guidelines and policy
- Mentor team members and provide growth opportunities
- Support Management with analysis and reporting, communicate team results and customer compliance
- Understand Customer Contract and execute in accordance with Policy / Contract
- Establish controls to ensure payments are in accordance with policy
- Analysis and processing of high volume and complex customers
- Process transactions and payments to customers timely and accurately
- Understand customer contracts and highlight if contract not in accordance with the one face policy
- Rebill and collect amounts that are not in accordance with the policy
- On a recurring basis report out exceptions/non-compliance and drive compliance by working with sales and Business Unit Finance
- Manage back log deduction process
- Responsible to provide month end accruals and ensure they are in accordance with contract terms and provide details by customer to Business Unit Finance for approval
- Update Vistex with all customer rebate programs
- Maintain stability of the Vistex system
- Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and be cost effective
- Convert customers from deduction mode to payment mode
- Maintain desk procedures and training documents to train new employees
- Research, plan and assist in the implementation of changes
- Assist in special projects as assigned
Skills
- Strong spreadsheet skills
- Good communication and team skills
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize to meet deadlines
- SAP experience a plus
- BA/BS degree with an emphasis in finance or accounting
