[Remote] Recruiter

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gogo is a company focused on enhancing connectivity and technology solutions, and they are seeking a Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting efforts for various roles. The Recruiter will identify, guide, and hire diverse candidates while advancing the Gogo employment brand across multiple markets and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process from requisition approval through offer acceptance and onboarding
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Gogo’s hiring managers, vendors, functional communities, and other team members to create a partnership that yields understanding of business needs, role requirements, success profiles, and hiring timelines
  • Create customized recruiting strategies for technical, engineering, operations, and corporate positions
  • Leverage employee referrals, online recruiting resources, and in-house ATS to identify and recruit the very best candidates
  • Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, industry events, and social platforms
  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional associations, and targeted sourcing techniques to identify passive candidates
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required
  • Create a prescreening strategy in collaboration with hiring managers that supports hiring the best possible candidate for the role, now and in the future
  • Manage and/or coordinate all communication with candidates
  • Oversee and take responsibility for the logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers, supporting, and ensuring consistent candidate experience
  • Track recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and candidate experience
  • Support employer branding initiatives and represent Gogo's culture and values to prospective candidates

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting for technical and/or engineering positions
  • Past experience, recruiting in the high-tech space is a must
  • Well-developed knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components including qualifying, networking, candidate selection, job analysis, salary trends, relationship management and due diligence
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting methodologies, candidate assessment techniques, and employment laws
  • Must be able to manage competing demands, while being extremely adaptable and flexible
  • Ability to effectively communicate directly with all levels of internal customers and candidates
  • Effectively present new recruiting concepts to hiring managers, creating enthusiasm in the process
  • Experience recruiting within technology, telecommunications, aviation, aerospace, networking, cybersecurity, or SaaS industries
  • Professional HR or recruiting certifications
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities
  • Quickly learn systems and processes
  • Assimilate technical information
  • Build solutions to the optimal balance of meeting business needs while operating within financial constraints
