[Remote] Risk Adjustment Financial Analytics Lead

The role involves managing data to influence operational decisions and strategic planning while analyzing financial data to deliver insights that support leadership and business performance.
Responsibilities
- Manages data to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues
- Collates, models, interprets and analyzes data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends
- Delivers insights that answer questions from leadership, informs decision-making and supports strategic planning initiatives
- Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and works under minimal supervision
- Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years finance, analytics, and/or healthcare
- Experience in integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources (e.g., MMR, MOR, claims), discovering new insights to support and influence decisions on strategic planning and specific business performance issues
- Experience in compiling, modeling, interpreting and analyzing data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends
- Work independently and able to exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties
- Experience working with medical claims or other healthcare data
- Medicare risk adjustment experience
- Financial or actuarial background
