[Remote] Royalty Analyst | Music Industry | Fully Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hyered is representing a global music giant in their search for an ambitious Royalty Analyst. This role involves analysing royalty statements and interpreting complex contracts to deliver accurate audit solutions in the music industry.
Responsibilities
- Analyse royalty statements across Recorded Music, Music Publishing and Neighbouring Rights
- Interpret and review contractual agreements to identify audit opportunities and ensure compliance
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, discrepancies and commercial insights
- Work with royalty systems and databases to validate financial data and reporting
- Produce clear, accurate findings and communicate technical information to both colleagues and clients
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and data analysis
Skills
- Previous experience with music Royalties
- Strong Excel skills
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
- A real passion for everything music and a keen desire to progress
- Power BI would be advantageous but not essential
