[Remote] Salesforce Net Zero Cloud Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Galent is seeking an experienced Salesforce Net Zero Cloud Consultant to support enterprise sustainability and carbon accounting initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage carbon inventories, maintain automation logic, and troubleshoot production issues within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Perform annual emission factor updates aligned with the latest datasets such as:
- EPA
- DEFRA
- IEA
- EGRID
- Execute annual inventory updates across all emission scopes:
- Scope 1
- Scope 2
- Scope 3
- Create and maintain annual waste and water footprint records
- Load and validate annual datasets including:
- Waste data
- Scope 3 datasets
- Legacy fuel and energy datasets
- Ensure accurate association of activity records to environmental footprints, including water footprint tracking
- Support and execute manual uploads for activity data when automated feeds are unavailable
- Perform carbon accounting quality checks for data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business requirements
- Maintain and enhance custom flows and business logic for:
- Utility data prorating and monthly trend reporting
- Refrigerant loss estimation
- Mileage estimation for vehicle energy usage
- Cost-to-fuel consumption conversion logic
- Carbon allocation for stationary assets (Scope 1, 2, and 3 classification)
- Geographic mapping for assets based on zip codes
- Fuel type mapping for vehicle and stationary asset classes
- Renewable energy processing and REC application logic
- Deliver production bug fixes and troubleshoot:
- Data issues
- Flow failures
- Configuration errors
- Calculation anomalies
- Manage biannual software update rollouts for:
- Salesforce Net Zero Cloud
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Support CRMA dashboards, including enhancements, troubleshooting, and dataset refreshes
- Diagnose issues related to Salesforce platform updates, API failures, and Net Zero Cloud configurations
Skills
- Strong experience in Salesforce Administration
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Net Zero Cloud
- Experience with carbon accounting, emissions management, or sustainability reporting
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Flow, automation, and configuration management
- Experience troubleshooting production issues in Salesforce environments
- Knowledge of environmental datasets and carbon accounting methodologies
- Experience with API integrations and flow troubleshooting
- Strong analytical, data validation, and problem-solving skills
