[Remote] SAP Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering Analyst (Top Secret Clearance)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is seeking an SAP Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering Analyst to support the design, provisioning, and ongoing operations of SAP infrastructure across hybrid environments. This role focuses on compute, storage, networking, and cloud platform support to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing SAP systems.
Responsibilities
- Support SAP infrastructure across compute, storage, OS, network, and virtualization layers
- Provision and maintain SAP-ready infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
- Enable and support S/4HANA, HANA, and Fiori infrastructure requirements, including sizing and patching
- Support high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) architecture, backup systems, and failover readiness
- Monitor system health and automate infrastructure processes using standardized deployment practices
- Partner with Basis, DBA, security, and application teams to resolve performance and stability issues
- Support cybersecurity controls, identity integrations, and infrastructure hardening
- Contribute to hybrid/cloud-connected architecture, including SAP BTP integrations
- Maintain documentation, SLA compliance, and operational governance metrics
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience supporting infrastructure for SAP environments (compute, storage, OS, and network)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Understanding of SAP landscape requirements including HANA, S/4HANA, and Fiori
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional technical teams
- Experience with SAP infrastructure engineering or cloud architecture
- Exposure to HA/DR design, backup/recovery, and failover strategies
- Experience with automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code tools
- Familiarity with SAP BTP and hybrid cloud architectures
