[Remote] Search Engine Marketing Specialist

The role involves planning, executing, and optimizing search engine marketing initiatives to drive qualified traffic and leads, managing paid search campaigns, and providing data-driven recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Planning, executing, and optimizing search engine marketing initiatives to drive qualified traffic and leads
• Managing paid search campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads, including keyword selection, ad copy creation, bid management, and budget allocation
• Monitoring performance using web analytics tools, preparing regular reports, and providing data-driven recommendations to improve ROI and campaign effectiveness
• Conducting keyword research, refining targeting, performing A/B tests on ads and landing pages, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to align SEM strategies with broader digital marketing goals
• Staying informed about search engine algorithm updates, platform changes, and best practices to ensure compliant, effective campaigns

Skills

• Strong search marketing capabilities, including Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Paid Search Campaigns skills
• Proficiency in SEM research and planning, including Keyword Research and campaign strategy development
• Ability to analyze and optimize performance using Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar)
• Experience managing and optimizing PPC campaigns on major search platforms with a focus on ROI and lead quality
• Comfort working in a remote, part-time environment with strong self-management and communication skills
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to translate data into clear action plans
• Familiarity with financial, tax, or professional services industries is an advantage but not required
• Relevant education or certifications in marketing, business, analytics, or a related field are preferred
