[Remote] Senior AI Engineer (Content Intelligence Applications)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPAM Systems is seeking a skilled Senior AI Engineer to contribute to building cutting-edge content intelligence applications. The role focuses on applying state-of-the-art diffusion models for generating and analyzing content, while creating reliable frameworks and workflows to enhance content-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and support content intelligence applications that use diffusion models for automated content creation and analysis
• Construct and improve harnesses and pipelines covering model training, evaluation, and deployment, taking advantage of platforms such as Firefly
• Build intelligent agents and agentic workflows that automate and streamline content-related tasks
• Design and deploy MCPs to enable scalable and modular content processing
• Develop and maintain evaluation frameworks for measuring model and agent performance
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed content intelligence solutions into wider product ecosystems
• Keep current with new developments in generative AI, diffusion models, and content intelligence technologies

Skills

• A minimum of 3 years in AI/ML engineering, paired with solid Python programming skills and proven experience building and deploying ML models
• Practical knowledge of generative AI models, particularly diffusion models (such as Stable Diffusion and Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Models)
• Exposure to content generation and analysis methods, including NLP and computer vision
• Experience with agent frameworks and constructing agentic workflows (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI Agents, or custom agent architectures)
• Capability to build and maintain evaluation frameworks for AI models
• Competence with orchestration tools and harnesses used for training and deploying models (e.g., Firefly, MLflow, Kubeflow)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort working in a fast-moving, collaborative setting
• Outstanding communication skills supporting cross-team coordination and documentation
• English language proficiency at B2 level or above
• A graduate degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a comparable field
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scaling AI deployments
• Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
