[Remote] Senior Cloud Integration Engineer | Contract

They are seeking a Senior Cloud Integration Engineer to develop middleware and integration services connecting Salesforce with internal systems, while implementing cloud-native microservices and ensuring API security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop middleware and integration services connecting Salesforce with internal systems
- Build and maintain cloud-native microservices using Kotlin or Java
- Implement REST API-based and event-driven integration patterns across distributed systems
- Work with Kubernetes and Docker to deploy and manage containerized services on AWS
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices
- Ensure API security best practices across integration layers
- Build and maintain connectors, adapters, and data synchronization components
- Drive test automation and quality-driven development standards
Skills
- 5+ years of backend development experience in Kotlin or Java
- Experience with Quarkus, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, including REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and messaging systems
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Solid experience with AWS cloud services
- Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure as code
- Background in integration or middleware development, including connectors, adapters, and data synchronization
- Experience with test automation and quality-driven development
- Understanding of API security best practices
- Fluent English, spoken and written
- Experience with Kafka or AWS MSK
- Familiarity with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Kargo
- Knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem
