Saragossa is a healthcare company seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to manage deployment, automation, and release management for their enterprise Databricks platform on Azure. The role involves building CI/CD pipelines, implementing release processes, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
Responsibilities
- Own deployment, automation, and release management for our enterprise Databricks platform on Azure
- Build and maintain pipelines in Azure DevOps for Databricks workloads and Azure Data Factory artifacts across environment tiers
- Implement release gating, approval workflows, and rollback procedures that balance speed with governance
- Automate provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, or Databricks Asset Bundles
- Operationalize guardrails around access controls, secrets management, and cost policies
- Define the promotion standards and branching strategies that keep environments consistent
- Ensure observability around pipeline health and deployment success
- Create runbooks that enable teams to self-serve
Skills
- Experience with deployment, automation, and release management for enterprise Databricks platform on Azure
- Ability to build CI/CD pipelines and promotion processes
- Experience with Azure DevOps for Databricks workloads and Azure Data Factory artifacts
- Knowledge of release gating, approval workflows, and rollback procedures
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or Databricks Asset Bundles for provisioning
- Ability to operationalize guardrails around access controls, secrets management, and cost policies
- Experience defining promotion standards and branching strategies
- Knowledge of observability around pipeline health and deployment success
- Ability to create runbooks that enable teams to self-serve
- Must reside in the Central or Eastern time zone in the United States
- Fully authorized to work in the US without any sponsorship / visa
