[Remote] Senior Director of Engineering, Consumer AI

The Senior Director of Engineering, Consumer AI will define and execute the Applied AI strategy, identifying customer problems that AI can solve and ensuring high standards for trust, privacy, and security in all solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Executive Leadership to identify the highest-value AI opportunities across the consumer business
- Establish the teams, operating models, and technical foundations required to build and scale AI-powered experiences
- Ensure AI-powered experiences are secure, reliable, privacy-preserving, explainable, and aligned with customer expectations
- Recruit, coach, and develop engineering leaders capable of operating in a rapidly evolving AI landscape
- Partner with Security, Privacy, Legal, Design, Product, and GTM teams to align priorities and execution
- Help define how AI contributes to 1Password's long-term product and business strategy
Skills
- 12+ years software engineering experience
- 5+ years leading large engineering organizations
