[Remote] Senior Financial Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. J2T Recruiting is a high-growth, PE-backed CPG innovator seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to own the demand planning process. In this role, you will bridge the gap between commercial sales performance and supply chain logistics, and present insights directly to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain granular, SKU-level demand forecasts across brick-and-mortar retail and e-commerce business channels
- Build strong, remote cross-functional relationships with national sales and operations directors to integrate promotional activity, customer trends, and field intelligence into the models
- Lead the monthly Demand Review acting as the key finance liaison to ensure projections are operationally executable
- Act as a systems builder, bridging the gap between NetSuite data and complex spreadsheet models to establish clean internal tracking processes
- Conduct ad-hoc financial and commercial analysis to identify tracking metrics, improve forecast accuracy, and support business decision-making
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of progressive financial analysis, bottom-up forecasting, or demand planning experience
- Experience building detailed financial forecasts from scratch
- Strong analytical rigor paired with a naturally curious, problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to deliver clear messages to senior leaders
- Advanced Excel skills and a strong comfort level with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), food & beverage, hospitality, or inventory-heavy industries is highly preferred
