[Remote] Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Clinical Outcomes Solutions (COS) is a global research consulting group, and they are seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis across the organization
- Manage the full spectrum of responsibilities, ranging from intermediate-level technical execution to management-level leadership
- Directly supervise the accounting team
Skills
- 10+ years in with increasing levels of responsibility in finance, with a strong accounting background focused on understanding financial statements, GAAP-based reporting and data integrity
- 3+ years in managing a team of at least 3 employees
- Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university
- Proven experience in management of small business enterprise risk (business insurance, federal and state corporate reporting requirements, general contract terms and conditions)
- Demonstrated ability to work well with a Board of Directors/Executive Management Teams
- Proficiency with Office 365 applications, including advanced excel skills (a must), and high comfort level in navigating web-based applications and reporting dashboards
- Experience with process improvement and department automation
- Mature, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and high attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to operate effectively across both tactical execution and strategic planning
- High level of capability in managing competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- CPA, CFA or MBA preferred
- Previous experience working in the Big 4 a plus
- Proficiency with small business accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and exposure to mid-market accounting applications a plus
