[Remote] Senior Microsoft 365 Consultant

They are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft 365 Consultant to lead complex projects, provide technical mentorship, and deliver high-quality solutions for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex Microsoft 365 implementations, migrations, and transformation projects for enterprise clients
- Design and implement comprehensive security and compliance solutions leveraging Microsoft 365 security features
- Develop and implement identity management strategies using Azure AD and Zero Trust methodologies
- Create technical architecture documents and solution designs aligned with client business objectives
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph to streamline administration
- Conduct technical assessments and provide strategic recommendations
- Create detailed technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials
- Provide escalation support for complex technical challenges
- Present technical concepts and solutions to client stakeholders at all levels
- Stay current with Microsoft technology roadmaps and emerging capabilities
Skills
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Microsoft 365 suite
- Advanced expertise in SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Teams administration
- Strong experience with Azure AD, including hybrid configurations, Conditional Access policies, and MFA implementation
- Expertise in implementing Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Zero Trust methodologies
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft security features including Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Information Protection, and Data Loss Prevention
- Proven experience leading large-scale Microsoft 365 migrations and implementations
- Advanced configuration skills for Microsoft Teams, including voice capabilities and meeting room solutions
- Strong PowerShell scripting abilities for Microsoft 365 automation
- Experience designing and implementing governance frameworks and architectural best practices
- Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
- Azure Administrator Associate
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API and development
- Knowledge of Power Platform integration with Microsoft 365 services
- Experience with tenant-to-tenant migrations
- Understanding of SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development
- Experience integrating third-party applications with Microsoft 365
- Background in mentoring junior consultants and developing team capabilities
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate
