[Remote] Senior Network Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Develop is seeking a Senior Network Engineer Consultant to provide remote consultancy support for a critical network deployment and firewall refresh. The role involves hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting for Cisco VRF configurations and Palo Alto firewall deployments.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote consultancy support on a critical network deployment for a new building and existing site firewall refresh
- Support four VRF configurations on Cisco core infrastructure
- Conduct firewall inspection between VRFs
- Manage Palo Alto firewall deployment and replacement work
- Ensure IPSEC tunnel connectivity between buildings
- Set up remote access VPN, including GlobalProtect or Prisma Access
- Perform technical sanity checks and issue resolution during a compressed delivery window
Skills
- Senior hands-on network engineer experience
- Experience with Cisco VRF configurations
- Experience with Palo Alto firewall configurations
- Ability to provide practical technical guidance
- Experience with firewall inspection between VRFs
- Experience with Palo Alto firewall deployment and replacement work
- Experience with IPSEC tunnel connectivity
- Experience with Remote access VPN setup, including GlobalProtect or Prisma Access
- Ability to perform technical sanity checks and issue resolution
- Ability to work flexibly and remotely
- Ability to provide around 16 hours of support in week one and ongoing support at around 8 hours for weeks 2-4
- Responsive and collaborative attitude
- Confidence in advising on detailed configuration decisions under time pressure
