[Remote] Senior Platform Engineer

They are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join their infrastructure team and help scale the systems that power their core product, focusing on performance, automation, and system design.
Responsibilities
- Building and improving cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Automating operational workflows and improving system reliability
- Monitoring performance, optimising costs and improving scalability
- Maintaining observability and incident response processes
- Collaborating with engineering teams to standardise environments and tooling
- Supporting secure and compliant infrastructure practices
Skills
- 5+ years experience in software engineering, platform engineering or DevOps
- Strong experience with cloud environments and infrastructure tooling
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of system design, debugging and performance optimisation
- Experience with containerisation and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Comfortable working with backend systems and APIs
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate independently
- Experience with distributed systems or high-scale platforms
- Exposure to data-intensive or AI-driven systems
- Familiarity with asynchronous processing and event-driven architectures
