The role involves managing Medicaid programs and collaborating with federal, state, and community partners to ensure compliance and improve outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiative workstreams and governance forums; prepare agendas and materials
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans
- Translate policy requirements into actionable tasks
- Establish and maintain project artifacts like RACI matrices and RAID logs
- Identify risks early and drive mitigation plans
- Coordinate with program offices and external partners
- Support change management and documentation processes
- Coach junior PMs and independently drive complex initiatives
Skills
- 7 years of experience leading large, multi-workstream initiatives
- Ability to drive cross-functional coordination and facilitate productive meetings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using project controls and tools
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience in Medicaid or CMS-facing initiatives
- Experience with Section 1115 demonstrations or similar programs
- Familiarity with government operations or regulatory implementation
- PMP or similar project management certification
