[Remote] Senior ServiceNow UX/UI Designer (Lead UX/UI Product Designer)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pacer Group is seeking a seasoned Senior UX/UI Designer to lead design strategy and execution within a complex ServiceNow environment. This role is pivotal for an expert who can bridge the gap between technical ServiceNow constraints and user-centric design principles, influencing strategic decisions and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX strategy: Conduct user research to identify pain points and define vision, guiding principles, and design strategies that align with senior-level business objectives
- Execute ServiceNow-centric designs: Build high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, and prototypes, specifically crafting intuitive GUI elements (menus, tabs, widgets) that strictly adhere to ServiceNow design standards
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration: Lead workshops to gather requirements and build strong, productive relationships with developers, clients, and multi-functional peers
- Advocate for the user: Rationalize design decisions to senior stakeholders, balancing technical feasibility with a rigorous commitment to user-centric design principles
- Provide design leadership: Act as a subject matter expert for presales opportunities, provide mentorship to the design team, and advocate for continuous improvement in internal design processes
Skills
- 4+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile platforms
- Expert proficiency in UX/UI design tools (Figma, FigJam, Adobe XD, Miro, Illustrator, etc.)
- Demonstrated expertise designing specifically within the ServiceNow framework/ecosystem
- Proven ability to lead user research, define UX strategy, and translate requirements into high-fidelity prototypes
- Strong experience navigating SaaS product design lifecycles
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ITIL Foundations certification
- Experience conducting and moderating stakeholder workshops
- Background in enterprise-level design systems and governance
