Job Summary Scribie is seeking meticulous and self-motivated individuals to join our team as Remote Transcriptionists on a part-time basis. This role involves converting audio and video recordings into high-quality, accurate written transcripts. As a transcriptionist at Scribie, you will play a key role in delivering clear, precise transcripts that meet our high-quality standards, contributing to client satisfaction across a wide range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Listen to audio and video recordings and accurately transcribe the content into written text.
  • Ensure transcripts are error-free, grammatically correct, and formatted according to Scribie’s guidelines.
  • Edit and proofread your work to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Meet daily or weekly transcription deadlines as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary client information.
  • Continuously improve transcription skills by learning from feedback and Scribie’s quality benchmarks. Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent command of English, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Strong listening and comprehension skills to accurately capture spoken words.
  • Familiarity with transcription tools and software is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable typing at a moderate speed (minimum 40 words per minute preferred). Experience
  • Prior experience in transcription, data entry, or content creation is a plus but not required.
  • Freshers are welcome; Scribie provides guidelines and resources for learning. Working Hours
  • Flexible work-from-home schedule.
  • Part-time position; you can choose your own hours according to your availability.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and submit work on time is crucial. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong listening and concentration abilities.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and MS Word or Google Docs.
  • Self-discipline and time management skills for remote work.
  • Adaptability to handle a variety of audio accents and recording qualities.
