[Remote] Transmission Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is seeking a Transmission Project Manager to oversee high-voltage transmission projects. The role involves managing engineering and design from development to execution, ensuring compliance with standards and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Managing the engineering and design of assigned high-voltage transmission projects from early-stage development through construction support and project execution
- Serves as the technical lead for transmission infrastructure projects
- Including FERC Order 1000 competitive transmission proposals
- Generation interconnection projects
- Early-stage development initiatives
- Partners closely with project managers
- Development teams
- Consultants
- And other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely
- Efficiently
- And in compliance with applicable standards and specifications
Skills
- 5-7 years' experience in Substation design and engineering of High Voltage transmission projects, coordinating EOR's, handling tight bid windows and managing early competitive transmission proposals
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred
- HVDC experience is a plus
- Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience with a strong bias for action
- PMP and/or P.E. in related discipline is a plus
