[Remote] Workers Compensation Risk Analyst (State regulatory reporting)

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Risk Management Analyst to support clients in maintaining compliance with state Workers' Compensation self-insurance and regulatory reporting requirements. This role involves coordinating state filings, tracking compliance deadlines, and ensuring timely and accurate submissions for multiple clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage quarterly and annual state reporting requirements for multiple clients
- Track compliance deadlines and ensure timely submission of all required filings
- Request and collect payroll data, financial statements, loss information, class codes, actuarial reports, and other required documentation
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before submission
- Update and maintain information within various state regulatory web portals
- Guide clients through certification, approvals, and state reporting requirements
- Maintain detailed records of filings, correspondence, payments, and supporting documentation
- Assist clients with adding entities to state compliance programs when required
- Review surety bond and security requirements and coordinate supporting documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve reporting issues and maintain compliance
Skills
- Experience with state regulatory reporting (required)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and recordkeeping abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred (flexible for strong candidates)
- Experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Insurance, or Workers' Compensation
- Experience managing compliance documentation and regulatory filings
- Previous experience in client-facing or consulting environments
