JOB OVERVIEW Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring the accuracy and clarity of medical documents? We’re on the hunt for skilled Freelance regulatory affairs translators (English into Icelandic) to join our dynamic team. This remote position is tailored for professionals who excel in refining translated regulatory materials, ensuring they meet all industry standards and are accessible to a global audience. If you're driven by quality and precision in the medical communication field, we'd love to work with you. They will build strong relationships with the IQVIA™ Translation Services team and will play a key role in the effectiveness and success of IQVIA™ Translation Services operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Be a strategic partner in delivering on-time and quality translations to IQVIA clients
  • Carefully adhere to provided material and instructions to meet the requirements of the clients
  • Research industry-specific terminology to properly reflect the meaning and tone of the source content
  • Cross-reference specialized glossaries and translation tools to check the quality of the translation
  • Quality Check translation jobs before delivery for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
  • Work with the IQVIA™ Translation Services team to identify gaps in instructions or any external issue that may affect the commitment to the client.
  • Flag project-specific queries in a timely manner
  • Be the point of contact for IQVIA™ Translation Services to assist with quality and on-time delivery investigations related to feedback.
  • Maintain close communication with Project Management and Vendor Management teams with regards to own capacity

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Native in target language Fluency in source language(s) – spoken and written At least 1 year of experience in translating, reviewing, and/or post-editing regulatory content (SmPCs, CTD, labelling, packaging, etc.) Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools (memoQ preferred), as well as proficiency in Excel & Word Freelance (no agencies) If you’re interested and meet our mandatory requirements, please apply!
