Senior Android Developer - Kotlin/Java/MySQL
Job Description
An established organization is hiring a Software Engineer (Android) to support the development of internal tools and applications. This role focuses primarily on Android development, with some potential exposure to web technologies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with teams across the organization while also working independently to build and improve scalable solutions. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills & Experience
- Experience developing Android applications using Kotlin or Java
- Familiarity with Android Studio and MVVM architecture
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL preferred)
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience in supply chain environments
- Experience with Django or Vue
- Exposure to automated testing
- Experience with Kubernetes or Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with WebSockets and event-driven architecture
- Understanding of component lifecycle
