RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a Remote role or located in Dallas, TX. Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to support a confidential power and energy services engagement. This role focuses on delivering reliable electrical and power solutions across commercial and industrial environments while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. The position involves hands-on support of power infrastructure projects, including installation, maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholder groups to ensure systems are deployed and maintained in accordance with technical requirements, safety standards, and project timelines. Responsibilities may include evaluating site conditions, supporting power distribution initiatives, assisting with system upgrades or expansions, and documenting work activities accurately. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in field-based environments. Travel may be required depending on project needs. Candidates should be comfortable working independently while also contributing as part of a broader project team supporting mission-critical operations for a confidential end customer. REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working with electrical power systems in commercial or industrial environments
  • Understanding of power distribution, electrical equipment, and related infrastructure
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, or commissioning
  • Working knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in field settings and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules based on project requirements Nice to have:
  • Relevant technical certifications or formal training
  • Experience supporting critical power or large-scale infrastructure environments
  • Familiarity with generators, UPS systems, switchgear, or similar equipment The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
