Job Description
Job Title: Senior Government Underwriter Department: Agency Operations Reports To: Agency Operations Manager PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The Underwriter (UW) applies necessary conditions to ensure that borrowers meet program specifications by drawing upon thorough knowledge of residential mortgage reputed company guidelines. They will also act as a “knowledge bank” in support of various departments and be a conduit of that knowledge both internally and to HomeXpress Mortgage’s clients. Ability to communicate issues between several audiences proficiently Achieves and exceeds work goals for productivity, quality, and turnaround time by prioritizing workflow and managing pipeline PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position is in an office setting / remote with computer and general office equipment.
