About the Role

As the Senior SEO Strategist focusing on high-value clients, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our client services to unprecedented levels of excellence. Beyond strategic oversight of ranking plans and direct communication with high-value clients, your influence will extend to providing sophisticated support to Account Managers, ensuring seamless collaboration across the team. Your seasoned expertise is not only essential for consistently delivering exceptional results for high-profile clientele but also in safeguarding and maximizing revenue through strategic upsells, contract renewals, and proactive measures to protect client investments in our services. Your proactive approach will involve closely monitoring client performance metrics and industry trends, allowing you to anticipate and address potential challenges. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement and staying at the forefront of SEO advancements, you will contribute to the overall resilience and adaptability of our client services to ensure that they remain unparalleled in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Scorpion Internal Title: Senior Ranking Strategist, SMB What Your Success Will Look Like Provide specialized support for high-value clients, including direct communication, strategic oversight of ranking plans, and ensuring client satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement advanced SEO strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of high-value clients. Contribute to the growth of product revenue by identifying and executing upselling opportunities within the high-value client portfolio. Conduct pre-launch audits for new VIP clients to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and successful launch. Analyze and create organic ranking goals, implementing tailored strategies to enhance visibility and drive targeted traffic for high-value clients. Act as a senior-level resource, providing mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and contributing to the overall success of the team. Who You Are And What You Bring Education Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field — or equivalent experience. Experience 3+ years experience in high-value client-facing roles, within an SEO environment. Strong understanding of organic ranking strategies and SEO best practices. Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party SEO platforms. Experience with upselling and revenue growth strategies is a plus. Skills Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-centric approach. Detail-oriented and organized with the capacity to oversee and optimize complex plans. Compensation

We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location. The base salary range is $70,000 (entry-level) - $90,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
