QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Business or commerce, or equivalent of 8 years in LTL transportation, freight operations, logistics, or supply chain management. Strong customer service background, preferably in transportation or B2B service environments. Proven ability to analyze trends, identify risk, and proactively mitigate customer issues. Experience collaborating with operations, sales, or customer-facing teams. Strong communication, relationship-building, and influence skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and operate with a high degree of autonomy. Preferred operational logistics or cargo handling experience Preferred experience supporting national or corporate-level customer accounts. Knowledge of LTL pricing structures, routing guides, and freight handling best practices. Self-motivated and customer-oriented WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to travel Customer interaction including face to face meetings While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must reside within 50 miles of a FedEx Freight location within the continental US. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Sr Advisor – Corp Local serves as a senior execution resource responsible for defending retained revenue, sustaining activation, and improving freight quality across a complex portfolio of corporate customer facilities. This role operates with a high degree of independence and judgment, leading proactive intervention efforts and serving as a trusted execution partner to Operations and Corporate Account Management. The Sr Advisor identifies shipment erosion risk, drives resolution of complex service or execution issues, and applies deep knowledge of freight operations, routing compliance, and local market dynamics. This role plays a visible leadership presence within the Corporate Local team, ensuring customers realize the full value of their pricing commitments and FedEx Freight captures the intended revenue. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a complex portfolio of corporate customer facilities with elevated retention, activation, or execution risk.
  • Proactively identify shipment erosion, activation gaps, and recurring service challenges.
  • Lead activation recovery efforts for accounts shipping below committed levels established during the most recent pricing.
  • Drive disciplined follow through to ensure customers realize the full value—and FedEx Freight captures the full revenue—of negotiated commitments.
  • Remove structural, operational, and behavioral barriers that make it difficult for customers to consistently ship with FedEx Freight.
  • Serve as a senior partner to local Operations leadership in resolving service, capacity, and freight quality issues.
  • Reinforce routing guide adherence and execution of contracted service commitments.
  • Provide CAM with detailed local insights, competitive intelligence, and execution feedback.
  • Support yield optimization efforts by identifying inefficient freight characteristics and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Technology and Support teams to resolve complex systems or process barriers.
  • Mentor Specialists and Advisors through knowledge sharing and informal coaching.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of risks, actions, and outcomes.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Perform additional duties consistent with role scope as assigned.
