Sr. CAD Technician - Gas Utilities
Description This is a full time REMOTE Opportunity
- For those selected candidates you will have to take an AUTOCAD Test. What you'll do Creating existing conditions drawings from existing drawings, GIS data, aerial imagery, field notes, and survey data; add annotation and dimensions to plan drawings, details, and schematics Create and modify sheets, title blocks, BOM and notes as an overall part of a design set Create and modify details, elevations, and section views Create and modify CAD drawings per redline markups Plot drawings to PDF for design and engineer review Prepare drawing packages for client submittal Review and incorporate company and client standards into drawing set Collaborate with team to understand project deliverable, schedule, and budget Mentor less experienced staff as requested Perform all other related duties, including fielding, as required.
Required Qualifications
Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) in Design and Drafting Technology, CAD Certification or equivalent prior work experience 2-4 years of experience in design and drafting field with some industry knowledge Preferred Qualifications Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software Basic knowledge of an advanced CAD software, such Civil3D, Solidworks, PlantWorks, etc. Who We Are ENTRUST Solutions Group, an ENR Top 100 company, is a community of people, 3,000+ strong, who are committed to our clients and each other.
