Sr Systems Engineer
What You’ll Do: As success full Sr Systems Engineer and Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for migrating on-premise workloads to the cloud, managing Azure services (IaaS, PaaS), and ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency of our environments. Responsibilities : Infrastructure Management: Design and deploy Azure Virtual Machines, storage, and networking components using infrastructure as a code method. Automation (IaC): Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep to automate resource provisioning. Cloud Migration: Assess existing IT infrastructure and lead the migration of on-premise services to Azure using strategies like lift-and-shift or re-platforming. Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, manage identity through Azure Active Directory (now Microsoft Entra ID), and ensure compliance with frameworks. DevOps Integration: Collaborate with development teams to build and ]support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Monitoring & Optimization: Set up monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Proactively optimize cloud costs through rightsizing and resource tagging. What You Will Need to be Successful: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services. What You May Need to be Successful Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for automation tasks. Networking: Strong understanding of VNet peering, DNS, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute/VPN). Containers: Familiarity with Docker and orchestration tools like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Preferred Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.
