Strategic Financial reputed company (Fractional or Retired CFO)

About the position We are a growing, reputed company-driven home care organization dedicated to providing exceptional care in our community. We don’t need a bookkeeper; we need a Strategic Financial Leader. We are seeking someone who enjoys the "puzzle" of gross margins and the discipline of forecasting to join our leadership team as a trusted advisor to our President. This role offers true autonomy, mission-driven work, and a strategic seat at the table, allowing you to own financial modeling and long-range planning without the daily corporate grind. Your goal is to remove the President from the day-to-day tactical finance so they can focus on the vision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor caregiver pay-to-reputed company ratios and identify margin leakage before it becomes a problem.
• Maintain a rolling 6-12 month cash forecast and model the financial impact of hiring and expansion.
• Present financial clarity during our weekly Level 10 meetings, identifying and solving issues without defensiveness.
• reputed company budget-to-actual variance and ensure our financial systems are scalable and audit-ready.

Requirements

• Deep background in GAAP and enterprise-level financial modeling.
• Data-first decision-maker who takes ownership.
• Disciplined, structured thinking style is a must.
• Strong ethical compass and a direct, drama-free communication style.
• Satisfaction in building scalable financial systems and documenting SOPs that allow the organization to grow without overwhelm.
• Ability to take reputed company GAAP concepts and "level them up" so the rest of the leadership team gains a higher level of financial literacy.
