Position Overview

The Student Success Coach role at careerzynith is a full‑time, work‑from‑home position dedicated to providing proactive, compassionate, and results‑driven support to enrolled students. You will serve as a trusted mentor, guiding learners through every phase of their academic journey—from enrollment and course selection to graduation and career transition. Your daily interactions will be conducted via phone, email, and our secure student portal, ensuring that each student feels heard, valued, and equipped to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Outreach & Coaching: Conduct regular, scheduled outreach (daily, weekly, and as‑needed) to a designated cohort of students, offering motivation, academic advice, and resources tailored to individual goals.
  • Enrollment & Retention Support: Assist prospective and current students with enrollment processes, program navigation, and retention strategies, helping to maintain high completion rates.
  • Academic Advising: Provide clear explanations of academic policies, degree requirements, and course sequencing, ensuring students understand the path to graduation.
  • Resource Navigation: Teach students how to leverage campus resources—including tutoring centers, libraries, career services, and technology tools—to maximize their learning outcomes.
  • Resume & Career Development: Become a certified resume reviewer, delivering constructive feedback, career‑building workshops, and personalized job‑search strategies.
  • Liaison Functions: Act as a bridge between students and internal departments (e.g., admissions, financial aid, technical support), facilitating timely resolutions and seamless communication.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Accurately document student interactions in the CRM system, track progress metrics, and contribute to quarterly performance reports.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on higher‑education trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in student support to continuously improve service delivery.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or international equivalent) recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in academic support, admissions counseling, customer service, human resources, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of academic policies, degree structures, and student lifecycle processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a warm, professional phone demeanor.
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail when documenting student interactions.
  • Ability to quickly master new technical platforms, learning management systems, and CRM tools.
  • Self‑motivation and discipline to thrive in a remote work environment, adhering to a structured schedule that aligns with careerzynith’s operating hours (Monday‑Thursday 8 am‑7 pm CDT; Friday & Saturday 8 am‑5 pm CDT).
