We are seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and team-focused Verification Specialist / Call Center Representative. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely background checks while delivering a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Verify employment, education, and references by contacting appropriate sources. Conduct 70+ professional and clear phone calls daily. Gather information efficiently using phone, fax, and email. Research and retrieve data accurately from various websites and databases. Provide timely updates to clients on verification progress. Support team goals by completing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Experienced: Minimum of 2+ years in call center or customer service roles and 1 year in an office environment. Educated or Experienced: A college degree in Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, Paralegal, Journalism, or Political Science (preferred) or 3+ years of related work experience. Fast and Accurate: Typing speed of 50+ words per minute with high accuracy. Trustworthy: Able to pass security clearance to obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC). Soft Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Adaptable and quick problem-solver. Dependable team player with a customer-first mindset.
