To help us continue to grow our offerings, we're searching for a dynamic VP of Product who is skilled in both business acumen and leadership. This person will be a multidisciplinary team player with a strong action bias. The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to evolve product strategy and drive growth from conception through execution while scaling and leading high-performing product teams. The role is a remote working position, with access to co-working offices. You would ideally be based within one of Bookassist's core markets: Ireland, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic or Austria. Occasional travel may be required to meet with team members in other locations. Job Responsibilities Executive Leadership Serve as a full member of the Executive Team, contributing to company-wide strategic planning, commercial decision-making, and organisational priorities beyond the product function. Client Engagement Act as a senior product voice in strategic client relationships, engaging directly with key accounts to surface needs, validate direction, and reinforce confidence in Bookassist's product roadmap. Product Strategy & Execution Contribute to multi-year product vision and company strategy, ensuring product investment decisions are aligned to commercial goals, client outcomes, and Bookassist's position within the Vertus Group. Customer-Centric Product Planning Own all elements of the product development lifecycle, from market discovery, client engagement and competitive analysis to requirements development, executable roadmaps, launch, and migration. Ensure all projects are grounded in deep customer insights and market needs. AI Strategy & Adoption Lead the strategic definition and execution of AI integration within Bookassist's product suite, ensuring AI capabilities are embedded thoughtfully and create measurable value for clients. Product Marketing & Growth Lead the end-to-end marketing strategy across the full product portfolio, guiding the team in shaping market narratives, defining value propositions, and delivering messaging that resonates with target audiences. Set portfolio-wide pricing models and positioning strategies to maximise market penetration and accelerate revenue growth. Team Building & Leadership Build and mentor the Product team as the company scales while maintaining core product management processes, frameworks, and best practices. Driving the Sales Pipeline Partner directly with Sales and Client Success teams to accelerate revenue growth through strategic sales enablement. Act as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to support high-value sales cycles, drive pipeline conversion, and identify strategic partnership opportunities that expand market reach and revenue potential. Data-Driven Decisions Establish and own product KPIs and revenue levers. You will be responsible for defining the tools and metrics necessary to measure product success from the ground up, using both qualitative and quantitative data to inform your decisions and demonstrate business impact. Knowledge Management Create robust, clean, and well-structured documentation for all products and processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that all critical information is easily accessible, up-to-date, and organised for both technical and non-technical teams. Stakeholder Engagement Work in collaboration with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including professional services, partners, and customer success teams. You are a collaborator by nature, able to build consensus and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. Job Qualifications Experience 8+ years of product and team management experience, with expertise in driving product strategy innovation, accelerating market growth, and building market-leading product portfolios. Growth Mindset A self-directed, curious, and rapid learner who can quickly grasp new technologies and create actionable plans. Action Bias & Ownership A proven ability to take full ownership of your product area and drive outcomes with minimal supervision. You are comfortable with ambiguity and have a bias for action, proactively identifying and resolving challenges to maintain project momentum. Communication & Influence Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences. You excel at presenting product visions at industry conferences, leading engaging webinars, and delivering thought leadership content that builds market credibility. Analytical Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on using data to define and achieve revenue-based KPIs. You are able to analyse a market and competitor landscape, and use those insights to inform your strategy. Education A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science is a plus. Fluent in English.
