[Remote] DevOps Engineer | $70/hr Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions. The role involves monitoring system performance, automating deployment processes, and collaborating with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions
- Monitor system and network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum uptime
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Implement and maintain robust security practices and compliance standards across environments
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments
- Create comprehensive documentation and deliver clear, effective written and verbal communication to stakeholders
Skills
- Have expert-level experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Have a strong background in networking, storage, and virtualization technologies
- Be proficient with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Have a deep understanding of containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Possess advanced troubleshooting and incident response capabilities
