[Remote] Finance Professional

The Finance Professional role involves driving financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic decision-making to support claims administration and payment integrity.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions in support of Claims Administration and Payment Integrity (CAPI)
- Collects, compiles, verifies, and analyzes financial information so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions for optimal staffing and inventory management practices
- Develops and maintains staffing models in Excel for CAPI
- Gains understanding of business operation for accurate inventory forecasting
- Provides staffing/inventory variance analysis to operators
- Engages in root cause analysis to determine explanations for trend variances
- Connects operations and finance to achieve common goals
Skills
- Bachelor's degree ideally in finance, accounting or similar field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
- Intermediate or advanced level user with Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytic skills with attention to details
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Previous health insurance industry experience working in a Finance/Accounting department
- Evaluation and development of financial models
- Managerial or Cost Accounting experience
- Experience with Access, SQL, and multi-dimensional databases
