[Remote] IBM HATS / AppLinX Engineer

They are seeking an experienced IBM HATS / AppLinX Engineer to modernize IBM mainframe applications by exposing existing green-screen transactions as RESTful APIs.
Responsibilities
- Modernize IBM mainframe applications by exposing existing green-screen (3270) transactions as RESTful APIs without modifying the underlying COBOL/CICS applications
Skills
- Hands-on experience with IBM HATS, AppLinX, or comparable 3270 host integration tools
- Experience automating IBM mainframe terminal (3270) applications
- Strong understanding of IBM z/OS, CICS, TSO/ISPF, and VTAM/TN3270
- Experience exposing legacy applications as RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with HTTP/REST, JSON/XML, API security, and API integration patterns
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or a related field
- Experience with Java, Java EE, or similar technologies is desirable
