[Remote] Legal Internship
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. FourPoints Health is seeking a legal intern to assist in various legal tasks for the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah. The intern will work under the Tribal Attorney and gain valuable experience in Federal Indian Law and Tribal governance.
Responsibilities
- Legal memoranda drafting
- Legal research
- Resolution drafting
- Contract review
- Presentations
Skills
- Must have completed 1L year
- Must have desire to work in Federal Indian Law
- Experience drafting Legal Memoranda
- Excellent Research Abilities
- Excellent Written/Oral Communication Skills
- Must pass a criminal and fingerprint background check according to P.L. 101-630 standards required
- Must be able to pass an alcohol/drug screening required
- Previous employment experience
- Federal Indian Law coursework or classroom experience
- Familiarity with Tribal Communities and Cultures
