[Remote] Product Designer (People Portal) - Volunteer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ignite Hubs is an award-winning education charity focused on delivering high-quality, inclusive education to children and young people. They are seeking a Product Designer to help design a volunteer and people management platform that enhances user experience and engagement for volunteers, mentors, tutors, and alumni.
Responsibilities
- Help design an innovative volunteer and people management and engagement platform
- Shape the user experience, accessibility and engagement of a system that will support volunteers, mentors, tutors and alumni
- Influence the design of a product that will become the central hub for managing and engaging our team members
- Work closely with the Founder and developers to help translate ideas and requirements into intuitive, accessible and engaging user experiences
Skills
- Experience in Product Design, UX Design, Service Design or Digital Experience Design
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles
- Experience designing digital products, platforms or internal systems
- Ability to simplify complex workflows and user journeys
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes and user flows
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma
- Experience designing HR, volunteer management, CRM or community platforms
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience designing gamification, engagement or recognition systems
