[Remote] Research Consultant V

They are seeking a Research Consultant V to lead market insights initiatives, design research programs, and partner with various teams to drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end market insights initiatives to influence marketing, retail, and go-to-market decisions
- Design and execute both qualitative and quantitative research programs to understand consumer behavior and purchase drivers
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, UXR, Data Science, Creative, and Product teams to define learning agendas and drive decisions
- Translate research findings into actionable recommendations that influence campaigns, launches, and business outcomes
- Support retail and omni-channel growth initiatives, particularly around premium consumer products and shopping journeys
- Operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high stakeholder visibility and strategic influence
Skills
- 8-10+ years of Market/Consumer Insights experience with strong expertise in qualitative research (quantitative required as complementary capability)
- Retail / Omni-channel research expertise — shopper behavior, consumer journey, purchase drivers, retail strategy, and traffic generation
- Experience researching premium / high-price-point consumer products (hardware, luxury, tech, consumer products; not low-ticket categories)
- Proven ability to influence marketing strategy, product launches, and business decisions through insights
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Familiarity with AI tools and AI-enabled workflows; exposure to AI or practical AI application preferred
- Strong executive storytelling and presentation skills to communicate insights and recommendations
- Experience with Social Listening and analyzing market conversation trends
- Background from companies or industries similar to consumer tech, premium hardware, luxury retail, fashion, beauty, eyewear, CPG
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI into research workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes
- Knowledge of responsible AI practices and AI quality standards
